BackpackGame does not set advertising cookies and does not run a tracking pixel. There is no account to log into.

Checkout keeps the current order in this browser’s session storage, under the key backpackgame-order. That draft holds the game, player ID, package, price, and order reference. It lasts until you close the tab.

After you pay, a short list of orders is saved in local storage, under backpackgame.orders, so this browser can open the receipt again. That list stays on the device. It is not sent to a server.

02Payment services

Cash App, Apple Pay, and Google Pay can set their own cookies when you pay. Those cookies belong to them. Their policies cover what they store.

03Clearing it

You can clear site data for backpackgame.com in your browser settings. Clearing it removes the local receipt copy. If you still need the order, email [email protected] with the order reference and player ID.
